Mr. Wille Eerola, Chairman of Finland Pakistan Business Council and Hon. Consul General of Pakistan in Finland, hosted Ms. Piia Parhu, President (Minerals) of Metso, global leading mining technology from Finland, to Pakistan. High-level meetings with the mineral team of GHQ led by Maj.Gen Wajid Aziz, Mr. Muhammad Aurangzeb (Minister of Finance), Mr. Muhammad Junaid Anwar (Minister of Shipping and Maritime), Mr. Ali Pervaiz Malik (Minister of Energy), Mr. Bilal Azhar Kayani (Minister of Finance and Railways). M. Wille Eerola was joined with Mr. Ziad Bashir (Pakistan Business Council, Gul Ahmed Textile Mills) and Ambassador of Finland to Pakistan, H.E. Hannu Ripatti.
“Right now Pakistan is one of the fastest growing export markets of Finland, both Metso and Wärtsilä are already working with Reko-Diq project but that’s just the beginning in the fastly booming mining sector in Pakistan.
