Ambassador of Pakistan to Sweden and Finland, H.E. Zahoor Ahmed visited Finland on 19-22 October 2023. During this visit, his program included meetings with some key politicians and representatives of the ministries, company meetings as well as meeting with the Pakistani diaspora in Helsinki and Tampere.
Ambassador also signed the book of condolences to honor the memory of the former President of Finland, Mr. Martti Ahtisaari, expressing deep condolences on behalf of the Government and people of Pakistan.
Ambassador met with two Finnish companies already in talks with the energy sector in Pakistan, Mr. Ilkka Heikkilä from Valmet Corporation and Mr. Jani Kangasaho from Biowoima.
Ambassador Zahoor Ahmed met with the Minister of Employment of Finland, Mr. Arto Satonen in Helsinki.
Ambassador Zahoor Ahmed met Mr. Jarno Syrjälä, Under-Secretary of State for International Trade, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Finland.
