Pakistan’s finance minister says the country plans to boost spending on large infrastructure projects by as much as 40% to create jobs as it tries to recover from the pandemic. He says the federal government will earmark a minimum of $6 billion dollars for development expenditure in the year beginning July. Finance Minister Shaukat Tarin spoke to Bloomberg’s Faseeh Mangi in Islamabad, Pakistan on Thursday.
